The following are important details for you to know about our classes, prior to registering. By registering for a class, you agree and acknowledge that you have read and accepted these policies. C&K Catering reserves the right to refuse services and classes to anyone. Please call us if you have any questions or concerns: 888.484.5111.
Payment: Payment in full is required to secure your reservation and must be guaranteed with a credit card at the time of making the reservation. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. We also accept cash and check payments. Checks can be mailed to C&K Catering, P.O. Box 3535, Clarksville TN 37043. Returned check fee is $100.

Refunds/Cancellations: We do not provide refunds for any classes or when registered participants cancel. Exceptions are made only if classes are cancelled by C&K Catering or the instructor due to insufficient enrollment, acts of God, death, illness or extenuating circumstances, without recourse. If a class is cancelled, participants will be notified and given a credit towards another class or a 100% refund for the class that was cancelled at the discretion of C&K Catering management. If a registered participant cannot attend a class please notify C&K Catering at least 24 hours in advance. Another person can be sent in your absence as long as they sign the registration forms and agree to the cooking class policies and procedures. If another class is available, C & K Catering may be able to give a class credit for another class for a class missed. Class credits are not guaranteed as classes are based on availability and if classes are in session. If you are unable to attend a class that you have already registered for please notify C&K Catering by phone 888.484.5111 or email catering@chefcorey.com .
Changes to Culinary Instructors, Descriptions, Content and Recipes: C&K Catering Management reserves the right to change class Culinary Instructors, descriptions, content or recipes of any class/event without notice.
Food Safety: Participants must follow all food safety guidelines provided by the Culinary Instructors throughout the class. To prevent foodborne illness, participants experiencing or have been exposed to any communicable diseases including cold, flu, etc. should not be handling and/or preparing food and thus, should not attend cooking classes. Acknowledgment of Liability: The use of cooking utensils, including sharp instruments, hot surfaces, and equipment, can make cooking dangerous. C&K Catering and its owners/agents will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage, to participants, or their property, due to any act or omission by the participants themselves, C&K Catering or its agents. In case of accidental injury, self-service First Aid will be readily available and assisted First Aid may be quickly administered to any participant that verbally requests it.
Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions: The food items that will be prepared in our cooking classes draw from all food groups to create menus of a wide and varied collection of dishes. Therefore, in order to provide the full experience to our participants, we cannot accommodate severely restrictive diets such as vegan, macrobiotic, low carbohydrate/sugar, gluten and/or lactose intolerant or individuals with single ingredient allergies such as peanuts or shellfish. While we recognize that some individuals have very real and life threatening food allergies and/or severe dietary restrictions, our particular cooking class setting does not allow for us to accommodate those food issues. Class registration confirms your acknowledgment and acceptance of the potential risks associated with food allergies and dietary restrictions and holds harmless C&K Catering and its owners/agents for any loss, injury or damage, due to allergic reactions that participant may suffer while attending our classes. However, if you decide to attend one of our classes and you have some specific allergies, make sure to announce it to the Culinary Instructor at the beginning of the class and do not eat the food you are allergic to.
Consumption of Meals on Premises and Leftovers: Participants take full responsibility and liability for consuming food items prepared during class on C&K Catering premises. For liability purposes, participants will not be allowed to take leftover food away from the cooking class location. Class registration confirms your acknowledgment and acceptance of the potential risks associated with consumption of meals prepared during class. Participants agree to hold harmless C&K Catering and its owners/agents for any loss, injury or damage, to participants due to food & beverage consumption during cooking classes.
Dress Code: Your safety is important to us. Our approach to hands-on cooking classes, as well as some demonstration-style classes, may have you slicing, dicing, and sautéing your way through all of our recipes. Therefore, unless otherwise pre-approved, clothing must be worn that cover your skin and shoes to cover your feet. It is not advised to wear open toe shoes or shoes that could easily cause you to trip & fall. It is not advisable to wear clothing where you can visible see most of your skin on your body. Proper clothing to wear include pants & shirts with sleeves. If you arrive improperly dressed for class, you will not be permitted to take the class, and will not be eligible for a refund.
Alcoholic Beverages: Alcohol brought in from off premise will not be allowed. Any participants that come to class obviously intoxicated will be required to leave and will not be issued a refund. Class registration confirms acknowledgment and potential risks involved with the consumption of alcoholic beverages. C&K Catering and its owners/agents will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage, to students due to the consumption of alcohol while attending our classes/events. Wine may be provided by Ingredients at cooking classes and is only served to individuals 21 years of age and older.
Gift Cards: C&K Catering cooking class gift certificates are available for purchase emailing us at catering@chefcorey.com. They are good for 1 year from date of purchase. Gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable and have no cash value. Complete information on the recipient(s) must be provided at the time of purchase. When you indicate that you’ll be using a gift certificate for a class, it is as if you’ve paid us in cash. Our cancellation policy also applies to gift certificates (please see above).
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed at the location of or during C&K Catering cooking classes.
Cellular Phone: Cellular phones must either be turned “off” or placed on their “vibrate” function at all times while class is in session.
Children: Children or young teens are not allowed at adult cooking classes. Participants must be 18 years or older to register for adult classes. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of C & K Management. Classes for children will range from ages 9-17 with parental consent.
Photos: Photos taken during classes and events may be used for promotional material. Class registration confirms your consent to and authorization of the use and reproduction by C&K Catering or anyone authorized by C&K Catering of any and all photographs taken of registrant in all forms and media and for any purpose whatsoever without further consideration.
Group Classes: Classes for a group can be arranged. As most of our cooking classes do fill, we require an enrollment of at least 10 students for a group class. Off-premise groups classes must be arranged through C & K Management at an approved facility. Each participant is responsible for his or her own payment & registration.
By signing this form any registered participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless C&K Catering, and any of the participating staff, their officers, agents, and employees from any and all liability, loss, claim, damage, action or cause of action which arises or may arise or be occasioned in any way by such participation. I understand that the goal of C&K Catering is to provide participants with a safe, fun and enriched environment during class time. I understand that staff will attend to individual needs to the best of their ability. Therefore, given the common dangers and tool use of a kitchen, accidents may happen. For such reason, I also understand that any illicit drug or alcohol use by a participant is absolutely not tolerated and shall be cause for immediate dismissal from cooking classes without refund.
The undersigned person agrees that in case of an emergency at C&K Catering cooking classes in the event that the emergency contact listed on the registration form cannot be reached I give permission for staff personnel present to contact the doctor listed above or alternative doctor and permit whatever treatment is deemed necessary by the doctor for the emergency. I have read the above cooking class policies, consent form, assumption of risk & release, emergency release and understand and agree to its content.
